"It's just so lovely to see so many happy faces."

That was one Cobholm resident's take on our free SkateArt workshops that ran for four Sundays through the summer. 

Inspired by the great Skate Park in one of our local neighbourhoods, Cobholm, and working in collaboration with local residents, we organised for two local artists, Dread Decks and STANE, to run some creative workshops on skateboard art and spraypainting. The results have been amazing. 

Locals turned out in their masses to take part in the workshops and we've been blown away by the art produced by 100s of local GY residents with over 200 skateboards designed and decorated!

One Cobholm mum said, "My 3 have absolutely loved coming to these & seeing their art skills develop has been amazing. Thank you so much". 

The workshops have finished for the summer but they will be run again...for one night only at the Cobholm Island Beach Festival that Freshly Greated is running in partnership with the Out There Festival on Friday 17th September....stay tuned for more info about this shortly!
