Freshly Greated created A Snail Tale, an arts trail of 6 fibreglass Joyland replica Snails around Great Yarmouth during August and September 2021.

As part of this, residents designed 6 snails, who had – the story went – ‘escaped’ from Joyland. 

There were the "Build A Snail" workshops held at PrimeYarc, and the amazing "BREAKING NEWS" segment filmed with our young producers too.

The campaign and activity was hugely successful – 12 thousand largely local residents watched the launch video, and several thousand engaged online, following the trail and in the Maker Workshops.

Later in the year the snails were brought in as part of Great Yarmouth Borough Council's Christmas market activity, with a competition to redesign the snails in a more festive way.
