Want to help grow the GY music scene and aged 14 - 18? Interested in being a musician, producer or promoter? Join us on Saturday 18th December at 11am for a FREE workshop followed by an open mic gig at The Empire, Great Yarmouth.
The idea of Play, Produce, Promote is to create a team of 14 to 18 year old’s to help build a music scene for original acts in Great Yarmouth. To do that we need performers, of course – but also backstage crew from sound desk to lighting, stage management, photography, publicity, promotion and compering of gigs.
So – we have three workshops where we can give you a taste of some of these skills and also where each month three acts get to perform at our Open Mic
Do I have to be a musician to attend the workshops?
No, anyone interested in music can come to the workshops, you do not have to be a performer.
